MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY BEING DIFFERENT; DARE TO STAND OUT

Whao! It’s another six years already just like yesterday. The journey has been long, tasking, hazardous and exciting but thank God you are passing out gloriously. It shall be well with all of you in Jesus’ name. “The past is behind, learn from it The future is ahead, prepare for it The present is here, live it”

MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY BEING DIFFERENT: DARE TO STAND OUT!

You have all come to a point in your lifetime when you have to step out to be the best you can. Life is competitive. What you venture into from this point, determines the kind of adventure that will follow. You cannot remain static because life is not static. You have to move out and show the world what stuff you are made of. Make a difference where others are indifferent to life’s situation. Dare what you have not dared before in a positive way and you become the desirable.

THE PTA AND ITS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SCHOOL

The PTA also make it a point of duty to give gifts to all staff every Christmas, Payment for some part-time teachers to augument some subjects.
Trainings are also organized for parents during PTA general meetings like Transformational parenthood by Van/Hud Management Consult in May, 2009. Presently plans are in the pipeline to construct a befitting Examination Hall for the School by the parents.
Surely we can say like the Psalmist that: The lines have fallen for us in pleasant places, yea we have a good heritage Psalm 16:6.

EXERCISE IS GOOD FOR ALL

It’s another annual sporting fiesta in the School. How splendid! It is a special one indeed being the 15th Inter-house Sports competition marking the 20th year Anniversary of our great School. “ For physical training (exercise) is of some value, but godliness has value for all things……..” 1 Tim. 4: 8( NIV) Spiritual and physical exercises are good for the body therefore, the inclusion of sports and games in the curriculum is not a mistake as it has an important role to play in the total well-being of the child.

During this fiesta, you could exhibit some talents which you do not even know that you have and you may bury for life, a talent/skill given to you by God through your laziness, lack of focus and indiscipline. Exercise, which precedes all sporting activities, helps the body to be active, improves health, curbs boredom and empowers boys and girls, even adults for an all-round development, making both spectators and competitors mentally and physically alert and relaxed.
